Eligibility Criteria for General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
1. Minimum Qualification Required: 10+2 (Physics, Biology and Chemistry)
2. Minimum 50% Marks Required (Aggregate)
3. The minimum marks may vary from institute to institute.
4. Admissions in GNM courses are done mostly on the basis of marks secured by a candidate in class 12 exams.
5. The age limit is a minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 30 years. This course is for both male and female students.

2. Admission to the GNM is mostly based on the results of several state-level entrance tests. GNM admittance is not available to students who are still in the 12 grade.
3. They will be awarded direct admission if their score matches the requirement of the college to which they are applying.
4. Few of the institutes also conduct their own entrance exams for these courses or take students on the basis of state-level diploma entrance exams.
5. Students must complete an application form and pay the application cost. Those candidates who qualify for the entrance exams will be eligible for admissions to the GNM course.
